Swollen, sore feet? Insomnia? Tired in the afternoon? Digestion slowing way down? Or feeling just fine, but want to do something restorative that might result in you feeling your first baby kicks? :-)
"Legs up the wall" pose is incredibly powerful. We do it a lot in our classes as a way to relax at the end of our practice, so that we're all feeling fresh and full of energy for the rest of the day.
This tutorial will show you how to get into the pose safely. (Please make sure to use a cushion to support your lower back!)
You will get out of the pose in the same way that you get into it. I recommend taking a 'child's pose' afterwards before you sit up and carry on with your day.
Namaste!
