It is Fathers Day tomorrow, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge all of the incredible women and men who support mamas through conception, pregnancy, birth and raising humans.
YOU ARE AMAZING AND WE LOVE YOU ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!!!
I believe all birth-partners should experience at least one yoga class with their baby-mama before birth.
In my partner classes and workshops we give the birth-partner LOTS of techniques for supporting the labor process, and helping mama through her final months of pregnancy.
Here is a short clip from one of the partner prenatal yoga poses we practiced in class today - which will help traction mama's spine and relieve aches/pains in the mid to lower back:
Partners play such an important role in making a human.
Obviously we need a partner to create the human - but the hard work is in supporting mama through pregnancy, birth and parenthood.
To all the daddies, co-mamas, grandmothers, sisters, BFFs...whichever shape your family takes...please know that we are so thankful for you.
